We were called in by the principal contractor Quinn London to rectify and complete the mechanical installation for this scheme after the original mechanical subcontractor went into receivership.

We undertook a complete review of the installation and design, including new heat loss calculations. Along with provision of additional trench heaters, we also adjusted and recommissioned the ventilation and plantroom installation to ensure design flow rates and temperatures were being achieved. Reverse return pipework was installed to rectify issues with the flow rates and the associated heat distribution to previously installed trench heaters.

The BMS was modified with replacement control valves, thyristor controls and solenoids to ensure proper operation, control, and monitoring of the installation. Various other snagging issues within the original installation were identified and rectified. Upon completion, the building was fully surveyed to check performance against the previously calculated heat losses.
