In response to the Covid-19 pandemic our operational sites were shut from 20th March and works that were imminently planned to start postponed. We instigated social distancing where possible and reluctantly had to furlough some employees. We are glad to report however that sites are now starting to reopen and, working to the Site Operating Procedures set out by the CLC, we will be phasing-in a recommencement of works on site from Monday 4th May.
We have received our first order from Beardwell Construction for the mechanical works to an extension & refurbishment project at Blackfen School for Girls. The works will involve construction of new teaching block, forming a new science lab within the existing school and repositioning of the staff room. We are looking forward to working with our new colleagues at Beardwell, and hopefully the development of a longstanding and mutually beneficial working relationship.
Battledore are nearing completion the cat B fit out for the Office of Postal Doctoral Affairs at the new west Cambridge development for the University of Cambridge. The works will involve the full mix of heating, ventilation and plumbing.
